Holds 84.72% of the Minoan Lines’ capital share

By the completion of the off-exchange transfer of the tendered shares, Grimaldi Compagnia di Navigazione will hold directly in total 60,085,289 shares of Minoan Lines, corresponding to 84.72% of the company’s capital shares and voting rights.

Minoan Lines announced that during the tender offer, Grimaldi Compagnia di Navigazione acquired through the ATHEX 2,476,464 shares of the company, corresponding to 3.49% of the capital share and voting rights of the company, while during the acceptance period, were validly tendered by the shareholders of the company 33,944,530 shares in total, corresponding to 47.86% of the company’s capital share and voting rights.
The off-exchange transfer of the transferred shares and the relevant registrations to the DSS, will be effected on Thursday December 4th, 2008.
On November 29th, 2008, date of the tender offer, Grimaldi Compagnia di Navigazione held directly and indirectly 23,664,295 shares of Minoan Lines, corresponding to 33.36% of the capital share and voting rights of the company.
