Adamantios Korais”, former “Kiousou”, is a new one passenger ship, which will operate on the Paros – Naxos route from December 2008.  Recently acquired and owned by the Greek shipping company, Zante Ferries (AMNEZ), “Adamantios Korais” will call οn its Friday trip, the islands of Ios and Santorini.

The vessel of 99 metres length, 17,2 m. width, full speed of 21 knots (official speed of 18,7 knots) was built in 1987 in Japan, and has a carrying capacity of 900 passengers, 250 private cars (alternative 50 private cars and 400 linear metres for trucks).

Zante Ferries recently acquired another one passenger vessel, “Roslagen”, built in 1972 in Germany (Meyer Werft), from the Finnish shipping company, Eckerö Linjen. “Roslagen”, operated the Eckerö - Grisslehamn line, between Finland and Norway.
