Takes delivery of fifth bunkering tanker bewbuilding in 2008

Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc., (Dimitris Melissanides; interests), listed on NYSE, announced that it has taken delivery of the “Patmos”, a 6,280 dwt double-hull bunkering tanker newbuild from Qingdao Hyundai Shipyard in China, that will be deployed to the company's U.A.E. market.

Including “Patmos”, Aegean now boasts a current bunkering delivery fleet of 30 vessels and barges, of which 25 are double hull.  The company expects to take delivery of 22 remaining double-hull tanker newbuilds over the next two years, which will increase its total bunkering delivery fleet to 52.
