Approves the concession of  the Taranto’s terminal
from Hutchison

European Commission today has approved the concession of the Taranto Container Terminal by Hutchison Port Holdins, the group of Hong Kong that recently nominated as the provisional highest bidder concerning the concession of the container terminal of Thessalonica Port Authority, as part of a big acquire project, including strategic port arias.

Taranto Container Terminal will be operated from both Hutchison Ports Taranto (HPT), a subsidiary company of Hutchison Port Holdins of Hong Kong and Evergreen Marine Corporation.
