Acquires a container terminal in the port of Lattakia

The French group CMA CGM signed a primary agreement with the port of Lattakia, Syria to manage a container terminal through its subsidiary, Terminal Link together with local companies.

The final agreement, is expected to conclude in early 2009, while the terminal will be operated by CMA CGM in July 2009, by the completion of the new constructions, offering 400 new labour posts.
