Container terminals’ traffic volumes increased by 19.5%
in the 11 months-period of 2008

The container terminals controlled by Cosco Pacific, in the 11-month period of 2008, handled 42m TEUs (+19,5%). The traffic volumes increased by 8.1% in November 2008 to 3.8m TEUs.

Yantian Int'l Container Terminals Ltd. (Phase I, II, III) classified in the fist position (8.82m TEUs), followed by Qingdao Qianwan Container Terminal Co. (7.99m TEUs) and Shanghai Container Terminals Ltd. (3.37m TEUs).

Suez Canal Container Terminal S.A.E. had the higher increase (+1,287.2%), followed by Guangzhou South China Oceangate Container Terminal Co. (+327.1%) and Ningbo Yuan Dong Terminals Ltd (+191.7%).
