 Provides reefer flows under Euromed service

 Mærsk Line announced that have combined the Intra Europe volumes with feeder volumes around the world into the multi trade service, EUROMED. On the northbound trip, the service will cover Alexandria (Egypt) and Ashdod (Israel).

EUROMED service will joint combined reefer flows from South America, North America, as well as intra Europe flows into one single rotation. The new service optimises the existing networks and deploys 4 vessels of 2,200 TEUs.

  • EUROMED will phase in at Ashdod (Israel) on January 5, 2009, with the “Mærsk Buton”, voyage 0904.

The rotation will be as follows: Bremerhaven (Germany), Tangier (Morocco), Gioia Tauro (Italy), Alexandria (Egypt), Ashdod (Israel), Valencia (Spain), Felixstowe (UK), Rotterdam (Netherlands), and Bremerhaven (Germany).
