Aegean Marine Petroleum Network
Inc., (Dimitris Melissanides; interests), listed on NYSE,
announced that it has taken delivery of the “Paros”, a
4,645 dwt double-hull bunkering tanker newbuilt from
Fujian Southeast Shipyard in China. “Paros” will be
deployed to the company's Singapore market.
Including “Paros”, Aegean now has a
current bunkering delivery fleet of 31 vessels and barges,
of which 26 are double hull. The company expects to
take delivery of 21 remaining double-hull tanker newbuilds
over the next two years, which will increase its total
bunkering delivery fleet to 52.
