Κατέπλευσε στη Σούδα το πρώτο από τα 100 κρουαζιερόπλοια για το 2011ΧΑΝΙΑ ● Ανταπόκριση Η πόλη των Χανίων υποδέχθηκε το πρώτο κρουαζιερόπλοιο που κατέπλευσε το Σάββατο 2 Απριλίου στο λιμάνι της Σούδας. Πρόκειται για το «Mariner of the Seas» της Royal Caribbean International, το πρώτο από 100, που πρόκειται φέτος να έχουν στη ρότα τους τη Σούδα. Το «Mariner of the Seas» είναι ένα από τα κρουαζιερόπλοια της σειράς Voyager-class, χτισμένο το 2003 στα Aker Finnyards στο Turku της Φινλανδίας, με μήκος 1.020 πόδια, χωρητικότητα 138.000 τόνων, 29' βύθισμα, 22 κόμβους υπηρεσιακή ταχύτητα και δυνατότητα φιλοξενίας 3.114 επιβατών.

The port of Souda is going to hold about 100 cruise calls during the current year. The “Mariner of the Seas” is a part of the Voyager-class cruise ships 2003-built at Aker Finnyards in Turku, Finland, with a total length of 1,020 feet, a weight of 138,000 tons, 29' draft, 22 knots cruising speed and a capacity to hold 3,114 passengers.
