The 4th Q of 2008 net income amounted to USD 8.8m

Navios Maritime Partners L.P., an owner and operator of Capesize and Panamax vessels, listed on NYSE (Angeliki Frangou, Chairman and CEO), for the 4th Q of 2008, announced time charter revenue of USD 21.6m whereas time charter expenses for the same period were USD 2.8m and  other expenses, including management fees and general and administrative expenses amounted to USD 4.2m.

EBITDA was USD 14.2m, while the operating surplus amounted to USD 9.4m and net income was USD 8.8m.

For the year ended December 31, 2008, Navios Partnerstime charter revenue amounted to USD 75.1m whereas time charter expenses for the year were USD 11.6m and other expenses including management fees and general and administrative expenses amounted to USD 13.1m.

EBITDA was USD 50.1m, while operating surplus amounted to USD 32.1m. and net income was USD 28.8m.

  • The Board of Directors of Navios Partners declared a cash distribution for the 4th Q of 2008 of USD 0.40 per share, payable on February 12, 2009 to all holders of record as of February 9, 2009.
