Long Beach container’s terminal throughput in 2008, decreased by 11.3% to 6.49m TEUs regarding to 7.31m TEUs in 2007. The full container’s throughput decreased by 13.9% to 3.19m TEUs regarding the imports, and increased by 7.2% to 1.69m TEUs regarding the exports. The throughput of empty containers decreased by 20.8% to 1.61m TEUs.
